UPDATE (May 1, 2022) - Project ACES Live At Schools

Although COVID 19 is not over yet, many schools are back in session and having Project ACES back at school. Many mask mandates are over and kids are participating in extra-curricular events. This Project ACES COVID page will still be live, as there may still be some schools or students who are virtual. If you are a student, family, or school that is still virtual, please make use of the previous videos (see below) from the past two years used during COVID. Just play them at home and exercise along with the children in the video. Please, if you have any questions, email us!

UPDATE (April 29, 2021) - Project ACES Virtual Video

We hope you find the video (below) useful for your virtual Project ACES day. Although we never expected to be virtual again this year, we put this video together in a short period of time. Feel free to have your students improvise with specific exercises to meet their needs. Typically, Project ACES is done on-site during school hours in person. There, the teacher can create a specific exercise program for their students, as they know their abilities. This video is intended to give a basic foundation / guideline of exercises you can do with your students. Please post on social media pictures of your students following this video as well as their improvising various movements. The creators of Project ACES just want your students up and moving for 15 minutes on May 5th, no matter what they do. The key is to be safe and have fun!

UPDATE (May 7,2020)

Project ACES 2020 was a huge success. Even though it had to be virtual due to COVID 19, the feedback was amazing. We enjoyed seeing all the creative and unique ways you organized ACES away from your schools. Some of you made your own video productions for your students to follow, some of you did exercise sessions on zoom and others did some Project ACES challenges with your students. Regardless, watching and reading all the great things you did on social media was outstanding. Thank you to everyone involved for a job well done. We will continue to leave this COVID 19 page live until pandemic is over. Be safe!

UPDATE (April 6, 2020)

As we all are, the Project ACES team is concerned about the situation regarding the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

We have been monitoring reports and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We all want to do our part in helping to flatten the curve.

As of now, we are still hopeful that schools will be back in session by May 6, 2020 to celebrate the 32nd year of the Project ACES Day global event.

We realize the severity of this major issue facing the world.

Our team is working on some backup ideas for the program in the event that schools are still closed.

We feel it is important to bring some normalcy to children by continuing with the event even while the students are at home. We encourage you to take care of yourself by practicing good hygiene, eating healthy, maintaining some measure of daily physical activity, and getting enough quality sleep.

We hope you'll be able to join in, even if at home, and post your stories on various social media platforms. Click here to get back to the homepage for links and hashtags.

Thank you for your support and understanding. We are all in this together.

Continue to check this page for updates as we get closer to May 6th.
