Q. How often does a new Country Challenge take place?

A. We would like to arrange a new Country Challenge every five years. Please visit this page frequently to see news of another challenge taking place. You may also attempt to organize an event on your own. Visit the 'Info' link above to learn more.

Q. Does the Country Challenge always have to involve the United States?

A. Absolutely not. We welcome any organizer to step forward and assist in their country.

Q. Can we organize a Country Challenge with just our school?

A. Yes. If you have a contact in another country, and you want to create a one on one exchange, that is acceptable.

Q. Do we need to contact you if we create our own Country Challenge?

A. It is not mandatory, but it would be a nice courtesy for you to extend that information to us. The feedback gives us a sense of how successful the program has been. We encourage you to communicate with us, as well as sending any media clippings to us.

Q. Do you supply the fitness test to us if we participate?

A. Only if you are involved in an organized Country Challenge initiated by this web site. If you are organizing the event on your own, visit the 'Info' page to see how you can obtain your own copy of a countries fitness test.

Q. Is the Country Challenge a competition?

A. No. It is what you make of it. It is organized as a cultural fitness exchange between countries. Schools that participate just take a health / fitness test that children take in another country. It is geared as a motivational tool for the children to make exercise fun. You can even choose to give your children a pre and post test to see how each child improves throughout the year with regards to health and fitness.
